From the Publisher:
Published in conjunction with a major exhibition at the International Center for Photography, this book is the first complete retrospective of Kertész’s brilliant career, including images produced from 1912 until his death in 1985. In a first edition limited to 3,000 copies, this large-format, beautifully printed book offers an overview of Kertész’s work in tritone facsimile reproductions, an extensive chronology, and an incisive essay by Hal Hinson, chosen expressly by the photographer to write the text. “A brilliant retrospective of Kertész’s career. Stunning facsimile reproductions are achieved through the Tritone process.”
Condition and Remarks:
This is the first English language edition. There is minor shelf wear to the dust jacket, primarily at the edges and a few very light marks. I’ll be happy to provide some detail shots of any flaws that aren’t visible in the accompanying photos, but overall it is an excellent copy.
